Workshop, Course, and Movie Night Policies
Participants MUST attend 100% of the program to earn the CEs approved for licensed social workers, mental health counselors, nurses, psychologists, and marriage and family therapists.
CE certificates will be given at the end of the event after you are fully paid and have completed the evaluation form. Day-long workshops qualify for 6 CEs; half-day workshops and movie nights qualify for 3 CEs. Courses qualify for 1 CE per learning hour. CE approvals for mental health counselors are arranged through our NBCC providership, and our co-sponsorship with Commonwealth Educational Seminars provides approval for social workers, psychologists, nurses, and marriage and family therapists. Details about CEs are available here.
Enrollment will typically be limited from 35 to 60 people in workshops, depending on the venue, and 15 in movie + discussion nights. Course enrollment limits will be advertised accordingly.
Payment options include online registration with payment via PayPal using credit card or PayPal account. You may also register online and mail a check for payment with a note indicating what program the payment is for, or register with the downloadable mail-in registration form enclosed with your check. If you are mailing payment, please note that your space is not reserved until we receive it.

Special accommodations: Therapy Training Boston seeks to meet the needs of all individuals. If you require ADA or other special accommodations, please submit a written statement by email at least 30 days prior to the program so we can make arrangements to meet your needs. Please note that our home base where we hold small courses and most movie + discussion nights is on the second floor with no elevator access. With enough notice, we can change the venue, if needed.
Weather cancellations or delays will be announced by email prior to the start date of the event with as much notice as possible.
Grievance policy: Submit a written complaint. If the complaint cannot be resolved by Liz Brenner, she will consult with another faculty member for a second opinion to resolve the problem.
